While Microsoft has enjoyed a respectable amount of commercial success with their Kinect, most of the criticism leveled at the peripheral has to do with the real lack of supported titles.

Microsoft is looking to change that with the inevitable release of its Kinect 2. Hopefully, that's not the name they're going with. According to a leaked report on CVG, Microsoft has sent out early hardware kits to 'select studios'. Early rumors state that the next Kinect will be able to accommodate up to four players simultaneously thanks to an upgraded motion control device.

We hope that the second iteration of the Kinect does more for motion control than the original. Most of the titles released for the first Kinect were pretty kid-centric. We will remain cautiously optimistic about about what the future of an improved Kinect may hold for us.
