Keep 'Halo 3' Alive by Logging On This Weekend

There will be on final 'Halo 3' push starting Feb. 1.

Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and even Halo 4 have come and gone, but many still remember the greatness of Halo 3. It was the end of a trilogy, and it shattered records. We waited in line for the better part of a day just to make sure we were among the first to get it, and hundreds waited behind us. We stayed up all night playing it and skipped class the following day.

Ah, the good old days.

Unlike Halo 2Halo 3's servers are still online. There's no indication that will change any time soon, but gamers are organizing nevertheless to give the game one final push before we all forget about it for good (we have really short memories, after all).

So if you want to take part in celebrating Halo 3 again, just log in this weekend (Feb. 1, 2 and 3) and hop on the multiplayer servers.

There's no telling how many people will show up, but even if it's just a small group, surely there will be some fun times. And we can talk about about much we're looking forward to Destiny. You in?
