Despite a whole New York Times article and a leaked voice recording suggesting the contrary, adult film star James Deen said that he had a perfectly pleasant time working with Lindsay Lohan in their new film, The Canyons - so pleasant, apparently, that he'd even go so far as to say she was a "great" co-star.
"I never had any issues with Lindsay," Deen told the Huffington Post when they caught up with him at the Adult Entertainment Expo. "But I don't have to deal with the Hollywood bullsh-t aspect of the film...I enjoyed her on a personal level." Whatever that means. "Let's say, hypothetically we wanted to date after filming - which was not the case - she, as a person, was great," he added. "But we don't like to do the same things...that would stop us from being a successful couple, nothing else."
As for the film itself, Deen is proud of the final product, and insists it's not going to be some "tacky" adult film, because it was written by Bret Easton Ellis. So, his hyped-up sex scene with Lohan? "We didn't have sex," he explained. "Yes, it's a four-way. Sure, you see boobs and ass...It's a plot-driver, and it was shot in a way where you're not thinking it's just four people having sex." Well, considering his line of work, he'd definitely know.
