Hyundai kicked off CES 2013 with a big announcement. This morning the Korean automaker said it will integrate Apple's Siri Eyes Free mode into its upcoming line of cars. The new feature will let drivers “interact with their iPhone using nothing more than their voice while keeping the device’s screen from lighting up.”

But as The Next Web reports:

This integration is news in and of itself, but the fact that Hyundai will also soon offer Google Maps in its cars via the search giant’s Send-to-Car feature makes things juicier. It’s unclear as to which cars will support Google Maps and which cars will integrate with Siri, unfortunately, but it will certainly be interesting if the two end up side by side competing for attention.

Hyundai additionally announced integrations with Nuance and Mobile High-Definition Link to improve overall video and audio quality.
