Developers anticipating the release of Google's Project Glass will soon have a chance to check out the wearable computing device at a pair of developer events announced in New York City and San Francisco.
A special invitation was sent out to individuals who signed up for the $1,500 developer summit. Google, however, did not give much notice prior to the events, which commence at the end of January and beginning of February, respectively.
The “two days of full-on hacking” will be held on January 28 and 29 at Google SF and February 1 and 2 at Google NYC.
Attendees who make it to the Glass Foundry events will “have a device to use while on-site.” A release date has not been set for the product as of yet.
