NeoGAF users have reported receiving an email with the above image recently, revealing a new marketing ploy from Sony that will see PS Vita owners trying to get their friends to buy in. Not unlike a pyramid scheme, though we're guessing Sony wouldn't want it phrased that way.
Either way, when your friend buys a PS Vita you both get $20 PSN gift cards and 1,000 Sony Rewards points, which is apparently a $10 value.
Plus it seems the individual who gets the most friends to buy PS Vitas will get a million Sony Rewards points, a $10,000 value. In other words, if you're a business owner, now is the best time to give all your employees PS Vitas instead of bonuses.
