Early this morning, a man stabbed his older brother to death in Far Rockaway in what witnesses and authorities say was a fight over food. 27-year-old Jose Romero and his 23-year-old brother got into an argument yesterday after spending all day drinking at a funeral. The debate turned violent, and the man stabbed his older brother several times.
The victim's girlfriend called 911, but police say that EMS workers were unable to save him. The man was taken into custody, and charges are still pending.
