Good news for Django Unchained: In addition to two Golden Globe wins and five Academy Award nominations, Deadline is reporting that the film is now Quentin Tarantino's highest-grossing. The film's studio, The Weinstein Company, reports that domestic earnings are quickly approaching $130 million, which surpasses the earnings of Tarantino's 2007 film, Inglourious Basterds at $120.5 domestically.

Is the Academy regretting not giving Tarantino a best director nomination yet?
