On Saturday, police were tipped off about the possibility of assault weapons inside of a Bronx apartment. The NYPD says that Enrique Santiago allowed them to search his apartment , where they found a .45 caliber Colt semi-automatic handgun, an SKS and an AK-47 with bayonets attached to both, a Colt AR-15 and a box with over 500 rounds of ammo inside of his bedroom.
The 49-year-old Santiago was arrested and charged with several counts of criminal possession of weapons. Did he think the police wouldn't find them?
