Just call her "mom." According to the Hollywood Reporter, Anna Faris is set to headline a new comedy from Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre, titled Mom. The show is in the early stages of development so for now they're just shooting a pilot, but it's said to follow a recently sober, single mother who is trying to get her life back together in Napa Valley. Faris wil portray the titular mom, and Lorre will executive produce alongside Two and a Half Men executive producer Eddie Gorodetsky

Sure, we probably don't need another Lorre series - he currently has three on CBS in the form of Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, and The Big Bang Theory - but life is pretty unfair, so it might be safe to say we'll be seeing this one on television schedules next fall. Welcome back to television, Anna Faris!
