50 Cent was one of the many celebrities to visit this year's Consumer Electronics Show and, among his duties as SMS Audio's most vocal mouthpiece, he made known music producer Timbaland's recent investment in the company.
"I'm excited about that," 50 said. "He can actually help out in the areas where we have acoustic engineers, help tune the actual products, and can give me his take on 'What I think is great' or not."
Timbaland will serve as an investment partner and member of the company’s board of directors, and have substantial involvement in the design and audio engineering process for new SMS Audio products.
“I’m looking forward to working with 50 and being part of a company so eager to bring studio-quality sound to music fans all over the world," Timbaland said in a statement.
