The sun will be elusive for at least four more months. But that doesn't mean you're confined to malt-heavy beers and hot toddies. You can find the invincible summer within you by sipping on these warm-weather drinks.

We've found summer classics and made them winter-appropriate with a simple twist or a surprising addition (think: hot sauce), making these robust rums, full-bodied tequilas, and spirit-forward concoctions ideal for consuming on chilly nights.

1 1/2 oz. Ketel One Vodka
1 oz. Ginger Beer
1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Orange Bitters
 
Directions: Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour Ketel One Vodka, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice and orange bitters over ice and stir. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Preparation: Combine Zacapa 23, aromatic bitters, orange bitters, Demerara syrup, and old fashioned bitters into a cocktail shaker. Stir and strain into a chilled rocks glass over one ice cube. Garnish with lemon wedge and orange twist.
