What’s so controversial about an old-school video game based on the Olympics? Well, the fact that the developers made use of the official brand without permission. LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games) Chairman Sebastian Coe made it clear that no one could advertise or endorse products that weren't created by Olympics sponsors. Banned for IP infringement, BRAVO Game Studios was forced to re-brand the game as Retro Sports and make minor changes in order to be eligible for reinstatement.
