A premature listing at UK online retailer GAME may have outed an unannounced multiplayer mode for the new Tomb Raider. The listing mentioned multiplayer as a feature of the upcoming game before it was altered to exclude the information.
According to the site, players will "play a variety of multiplayer modes as Lara's Shipmates or Yamatai's Scavengers."
Currently Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have not announced multiplayer in Tomb Raider, but that may soon change now that this information has come to light. Would you be surprised? What do you think they'll need to do to make the mode unique?
