Every time we hear about The Last Guardian, it's to be reassured that the game is indeed still in development, despite some major hurdles. But it's been ages since Team Ico's Shadow of the Colossus successor made a public appearance, and there's been no hint of a possible release date. Until now, that is.
Of course, your definition of a hint may differ from ours, so take this how you will. But WalMart is currently listing The Last Guardian with a June 1, 2013 ship date.
Retailers often pull numbers out of thin air to use as filler until a real release date is announced (case in point: Target promises that The Last Guardian will arrive by 2025, fingers crossed). On the other hand, WalMart may know something we don't.
