The Hitman HD Trilogy popped up on Amazon yesterday, and it didn't take long at all for Square Enix to confirm that the package is indeed headed to Xbox 360 and PS3.

In a press release sent out today, the publisher confirmed that the Hitman HD Trilogy will contain Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (as opposed to a loud assassin?), Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money, all wrapped up in a sexy HD package for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The trilogy will cost $39.99 and will be released on Jan. 29 next year (Feb. 1 in EU and U.K.). Have you been enjoying Hitman: Absolution? Or do you prefer the open-ended Hitman games from the good old days?
