The South Korean government has had enough of those damn teenagers with their sexting and cursing. That is why the Ministry of Gender Equality And Family is trying to install software that would block "'illegal [and] harmful information." The agenda will prevent users from using profanity and slang on social networks, like KaKao Talk, Facebook, and Twitter.
In addition to that initiative, the government is also look to "require a compulsory filtering service for mobile carriers that will block 'harmful information' that includes pornography and nudity." Could you imagine the same form of censorship over here?
