The Bloomberg Administration's smoking ban has invaded private homes, as all smoking has been prohibited inside of homes at Brooklyn's 1 Grand Army Plaza. According to the New York Post, over two-thirds of the condo board voted in favor of the smoking ban which even includes the inside of people's homes. Now, the only place you can smoke is on one of the building's many terraces.

As imagined, people are pissed. According to the condo's president, residents are calling the ban an "Orwellian attempt" to control people. Though smoking bans inside of Manhattan apartments in condos are certainly not new, this is the first of its kind in Brooklyn. This means that more are sure to come.
