Two pop culture phenomenons are about to collide. According to Deadline, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is set to lend his voice to fellow Fox series The Simpsons for an upcoming episode. And, even better, the episode actually sounds interesting: Reportedly, MacFarlane will voice the character of a married man who decides to pursue a relationship with Marge after the two meet online. Drama in Springfield!
MacFarlane's episode is set to air next season, in Fall 2013. Also, if you're worried about the world imploding from this epic Fox series crossover, don't fret: The Simpsons' Dan Castellaneta guest-voiced a character on Family Guy in a recent episode, and we're all fine so far.
