Good news: The MTV Movie Awards might not suck as much as usual this year! As the network that used to play music but now only airs reality shows like this one announced today, Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson has been tapped to host the show next year, which is set to air live on April 14th at 9 PM.
MTV announced the news via a promo depicting a fake torture scene that comes off as more weird and tasteless than it does funny. But whatever - Rebel Wilson is hosting the MTV Movie Awards! This, along with the news that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to joint-host the Golden Globes, makes us overwhelmingly happy that the world didn't end today.
