The MTA's "Fastrack" has been up and running for a year now, and there are currently plans to expand this to the Bronx, Queens, and Upper Manhattan in 2013.

"Over the past year we have found this to be an extremely effective way to maintain a subway system that operates around the clock, seven days a week," said NYCT President Thomas F. Prendergast.

Below, you'll find a list of tracks that will be experiencing heavy maintenance in the future:
