Tumblr added some major changes to its latest iOS app, version 3.2.3. The update introduces markdown support, a new "Explore" tab, and iPad optimization with landscape view.
Compared to the slow loading times experienced while browsing Tumblr via Safari on the iPad, the new optimized app moves incredibly fast. A new navigation sidebar has also been added specifically for iPad users. Like the iPhone version, Tumblr for iPad features one-touch re-blogging, pinch and zoom to enlarge photos (as well as larger photos in general), multi-blog management, and offline support.
