Jennifer Love Hewitt is set to produce a television series based on Pride and Prejudice, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting. The series, titled Darcy's Town, will be a "modern-day" retelling of the classic Jane Austen novel - which basically means everyone will have iPhones - and will be set in a small Virginia town. It's probably safe to say that costume drama queen Keira Knightly, who starred in the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice, will not be starring in this adaptation.

The actress currently stars in another series for the network, The Client List, in which she plays a single mother who gives happy-ending massages at a day spa and everyone judges her for it. Prudes.
