Developed by the design firm Edison Junior, DoorBot turns your doorbell into a one-way video and two-way communication device. When someone rings your doorbell your phone rings like a regular phone call. When you answer the call a video chat is launched showing you who is at the door. You are then able to talk to the visitor.
Sounds cool right? Wait there's more.
The DoorBot is bundled with Lockitron, the keyless, smartphone-controlled door lock. Roommate forgot his or her keys? No problem. Press a button and you can unlock your door.
