Harrison Ford Gets Serious In This Debut Image From The Big Screen Adaptation Of "Ender's Game"

Can it live up to its groundbreaking source material?

None

Orson Scott Card’s 1985 sci-fi novel, Ender’s Game, is one of the most respected and revered examples of the genre in the last three decades. In short, the book is about a group of young recruits who are being trained throughout their childhood at Battle School to get them ready for an eventual war against an alien force that fights with a hive-mind mentality.

Now this source material is being adapted into a motion picture at Lionsgate starring Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff and Asa Butterfield as the titular Ender Wiggin. And courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we have the first official image from the movie, which showcases Ford and Butterfield’s relationship perfectly.

And for those of you wondering if Card’s memorable ending to the book will stay intact, director Gavin Hood told EW, “I promise you that it is very much there.” Check out the image below.
