Monolith's battle arena inspired Guardians of Middle Earth will be available for digital download this week for both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Normally the whole MOBA/League of Legends type of game-play is reserved for the PC gamers among us, and it will be interesting to see how Guardians will be received in the realm of the console. If it's a success, plan on seeing more of these types of games from major studios.
The game will pit teams of five against one another, drawing from the massive mythology of the Tolkien-verse. The game looks like it should be a hit for the fantasy and tactics crowd. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think of the game on Twitter.
