Who wants some console-exclusive DLC? Raise your hand! PS3 players, you cheered the loudest! Here, have two free co-op missions for Far Cry 3!

Are you with us still? The PS3 version of Far Cry 3 is getting two exclusive new co-op missions, called "Jailbreak" and "Redemption," in a pack collectively titled "High Tides." The missions will arrive as free DLC in January. Here's what Massive Entertainment (the devs behind Far Cry 3's online) writer Meghan Watt had to say about it on the PlayStation Blog:

High Tides will take place where the original six co-op chapters left off. These are the gang’s final moments, and we’re really challenging ourselves to go all-out. We’ve got new missions, tougher fights, bigger competitions, some great up-close time with your favorite characters, and explosive moments unlike anything you’ve seen before. Can you tell we’re excited?

She added: "We want everyone who loves Far Cry 3’s co-op to get even more quality time with the whole gang." Except for players on Xbox 360 and PC, apparently. Oh well! At least they're not charging for it, right?
