Each year, company review site Glassdoor gathers data and analyzes employee reviews to determine the best companies to work for in the upcoming year. For 2013, the world's largest social network received the top honor.
Facebook was awarded the top spot on Glassdoor's Employee Choice Awards over popular tech companies like Google and Apple. Employers are rated on career opportunities, salary and benefits, work and life balance, senior management, and culture and values.
Notably, 19 out of the 50 companies on the list are tech companies. Google was the next highest tech company at number 6, followed by Careerbuilder at number 11, and LinkedIn at number 14.
This marks the second time Facebook, which has made the list three times, has been named the best company to work for.
