Get your Birdman lyrics ready: A man was caught at Miami International Airport trying to smuggle 16 birds sewn into his pants into the United States. 76-year-old Alberto Diaz Gonzalez was busted while trying to sneak several Cuban bullfinches into the country after returning from Havana.

The incident occurred last month. Gonzalez never declared any wildlife, not even when asked verbally. When he was patted down, officials discovered that the birds had been sewn into the inside of his pants. They also found a few inside of a plastic cylinder in his pocket.

Gonzalez admitted that he was planning to sell the birds in the U.S. and has pleaded guilty to smuggling charges. If convicted he could face up to 20 years in prison, three years probation, and a $250,000 fine.
