A deranged man scared fellow passengers at Penn Station over the weekend when he jumped onto the train tracks before the train arrived. Luckily, the man was able to pull himself back onto the subway platform at the A train station before he was hurt.
Emergency responders took the man, who they're convinced is mentally ill, to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital for evaluation. “He went down there purposely. He didn’t fall,” said a newsstand salesperson. “The cops came and took him away in handcuffs.”
