The Chicago Police Department has arrested arrested a suburban man following a huge marijuana bust that involves a reported 2,500 pounds of weed that was stuffed inside of over a thousand containers of frozen strawberries.

Dolton, IL resident Martin Rosas was charged with the possession of over 5,000 grams of marijuana after police found the marijuana-packed strawberries inside of his rental truck which wasn't refrigerated even though it was allegedly used to transport the frozen fruit.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, police followed the truck to a residence where they found 350 pounds of marijuana inside. The remaining amounts were found at Rosas' home and a warehouse on the city's South Side.

NBC Chicago reports that the marijuana is worth $6.8 million on the street and was reserved for local street gangs.
