On Thursday night, Brooklyn assistant district attorney Imran Ansari—who was allegedly drunk—was arrested after refusing to pay a cab driver. When police were called to deal with him, Ansari reportedly told them “I’m a Brooklyn ADA and I outrank you." That deserves a spot on the Top 10 Dickhead Comments of the Year list.

Ansari was on his way back to Long Island City when driver Mohammad Hossain stopped at 48th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard to let him out of the vehicle. Ansari owed him $21.50, and reportedly told him "“I’m not going to pay you." When police arrived, he admitted that he had no money, and was charged with theft of services, which is a class A misdemeanor. As the ADA, he should known that.

In addition to being arrested, Ansari was suspended from the Brooklyn DA's office. “The one thing you don’t do when you’re a DA is tell people you’re a DA! That’s when you get in trouble,” a law enforcement source told the New York Post.
