BlueStacks, software that allowed PC users to run any Android app, has finally been ported over to Mac OS X.

The software was first announced over the summer when it entered the alpha stage. At the time, the tool only ran 17 Android apps, with Words With Friends and Pulse being the most notable inclusions. Since then, the Mac version of the tool has been immensely improved and has entered the beta stage.

Between Windows and Mac devices, the California-based software company claims to have over 5 million downloads. Eventually your devices may come pre-installed with the software thanks to the recent partnerships with AMD and ASUS. The deal calls for 100 million units to be sold with BlueStacks pre-installed.

If you want to try it out, download the Mac OS X beta of BlueStacks here.
