The biggest shopping weekend of the year has come and gone, and all three major consoles makers—including Nintendo, with the new Wii U—made out like bandits.
The house that Mario built sold 400,000 Wii Us over Black Friday week, 100,000 more than the Wii sold during the same period after its launch in 2006.
Sony, meanwhile, sold 525,000 PS3s, not to mention 160,000 PS Vitas.
Microsoft came out the clear winner, with 750,000 Xbox 360s sold and Xbox Live Gold memberships up 50 percent from last year.
Did you buy a gaming console over the last week? Which one?
