We don't know about you, but Metal Slug was always one of our favorite series to play in the arcade when we were kids. Nowadays whenever we see the game out and about we can't help but put a few quarters in, despite owning the anthology version on Wii already.
So it's bad news for our productivity that SNK Playmore just released the original Metal Slug on iOS and Android for $3.99.
In addition to the standard arcade mode, the new mobile version of Metal Slug features a mission select mode that lets you replay levels you've already beat. The controls are customizable, as well, and you can position them outside the game screen space in a special windowed mode so that the game is never blocked by your thumbs or fingers.
SNK Playmore promised that Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug X are on their way to mobile platforms as well. What other retro games do you want to get ported to mobiles?
