The Wii U launched with only one of its four promised video on demand apps: Netflix. The Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant and Youtube apps were represented by placeholder icons labelled "coming soon."
But the Hulu app launched earlier this week, and today Amazon Instant and Youtube have become available on the platform as well. Just in time for Thanksgiving! Who needs the Macy's Day Parade when you can just put on a playlist of cat videos?
Now we'll just be waiting for the Wii U's "TVii" function, a tool that pulls personalized video recommendations from all available sources, to go live in December.
