Police arrested an Olympia, WA, man for allegedly shooting his neighbor, then made several strange discoveries inside of his home. Darren Shore was locked up for shooting his 30-year-old neighbor, but police were baffled by the two 5-foot alligators, marijuana, and stripper pole that they found inside of his home

Inside of Shore's home were the exotic pets and 15 marijuana plants. Police believe that Shore shot his neighbor, Ryan Lemcke, once in the bicep and again in the shoulder over a drug deal gone wrong. Lemcke was supposed to help Shore move a hot tub at his house (okay...), which adds another layer of weird to this story. Shore says Lemcke grew agitated when he refused to pay him for his services in weed and pills.

Investigators believe the alligators were used to guard the marijuana. Because they're legal to own in the state of Washington, Shore will be able to keep them. Before he was taken away by police, Shore helped them steer the gators into his bathroom, leaving a tub full of water and chicken for them to eat.

Shore says that the marijuana was sold to him legally from a dispensary in Oregon to help fight his back pain, and that the stripper pole is for his wife, who is a stripper. He's been charged with attempted homicide. Lemcke was released from the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
