A video has gone viral of four Walmart employees tossing sealed iPads around in one of the company's Pikeville, Kentucky stockrooms.

The 48-second clip starts with one employee sarcastically warning the view that “this is why you don’t buy an iPad from Walmart.” The video was sent anonymously to Reddit user SenorPierre who then uploaded it to the web.

Walmart released a statement about the controversial video:

"We've seen the video of several nightshift associates destroying merchandise in the back of our stores in August and, as anyone can imagine, it made us wince. We are also embarrassed."

As you can imagine, Walmart does not like to be embarrassed. The big-box retailer said the four employees involved in the incident "no longer work for Walmart" and that it hasn't seen any iPads since the video has come to light. "We stand behind our merchandise and our associates work very hard to take proper care and handling of the products we put on our shelves," said a Walmart rep.

So if you cop an iPad from one of the Walton family's chain of stores and there's a big crack in it, you know what happened.

Happy shopping.
