Companies are obsessed with viral videos and millions of eyeballs that come with them, so it's no surprise that a cottage industry of marketing experts and consultants has sprung up promising just that. Predicting what will go viral and what won't, however, is something of an inexact science (to put it nicely), with well considered videos flopping as frequently as they catch fire. No longer. Now there's "Buyral," a (fake) pay-for-clicks program from the ad agency john st. that deploys armies of professional clickers to guarantee that your video is a hit.

john st.'s video is a dead-on skewering of viral mania and, sadly, not so far from reality.
