Veep star Anna Chlumsky is headed to NBC. According to TV Line, the actress is set to guest star on the network's upcoming sequel/reboot series Hannibal, as a young FBI trainee named Miriam Lass. Her character will be working closely with Laurence Fishburne's FBI agent character, Jack Crawford. This news comes in addition to recent reports that Mockingburd Lane star Eddie Izzard will be guest-starring on the series as a inmate at a mental institution.

Hannibal, which is being written by Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller and stars Mads Mikkelsen as the titular Dr. Hannibal Lecter, is a contemporary take on Thomas Harris' 1981 novel, Red Dragon. The series is set to premiere sometime early next year on NBC.
