According to a report from The New York Times, Twitter is planning on coming out with a new feature for its mobile application that will allow users to add photo filter effects to their images. Sound familiar? While the microblogging site hasn't officially announced the rumored addition, such a move would make sense considering the fact that Twitter would like to distance themselves from Instagram, which happens to be owned by their social media website rival, Facebook.
If a photo filter option does become available, would you be inclined to solely use Twitter? Or, will Instagram always remain a fixture in your life... you know, until something better comes along?
