Samsung's Galaxy line, much like the universe, is constantly expanding. At the end of this week, the consumer tech giant will release its first ever Galaxy Camera, which is just the second so-called smart camera ever built to run the Android mobile operating system.

The Galaxy Camera is equipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and even features the same 4.8-inch display found on the Galaxy S III phone. It has a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor and 21x non-detachable zoom lens.

The camera is wifi-enabled but will also support AT&T's HSPA+ network via an optional monthly data plan. It retails for $499 and will be sold at traditional outlets in addition to AT&T stores.
