"Red Dawn" Remake Spawns Racist Reactions All Over Twitter

You knew this was coming. In the wake of the release of the remake of Red Dawn, Twitter has erupted into an all-out racist minefield, courtesy of the movie’s pro-American, anti-everyone else message. In the film, America is invaded by North Korean troops, so naturally people believed that this is somehow possible in the near future and took to the popular social networking site to voice their newfound racist opinions. Check out some of the worst offenders below, courtesy of WSJ.

There were also numerous Twitter accounts that have since been disabled by users as well in the wake of these tweets going viral. Remember people, think before you tweet. Especially if you’re planning on tweeting racist vitriol.
