Two Pakistani parents have been accused of killing their 15-year-old daughter for allegedly looking at a boy. According to the couple, their daughter had destroyed the family's honor through her actions. From jail, Mohammad and Zaheen Zafar explained that their daughter turned to look at a boy who drove by on a motorcycle, and her father told her that it was wrong.
According to the her mother, the girl said that she wouldn't do it again, but the woman proudly said that by then she had already thrown acid on her. She even said it was her "destiny" to die that way. Mohammad Zafar said that the family's reputation had already been damaged because of the actions of their older daughter. They wouldn't explain what they were, but Pakistani officials originally said it was because the girl reportedly had an affair with a boy.
