Mila Kunis to Executive Produce Women's Liberation Drama for The CW

Called Meridian Hills.

None

Mila Kunis is headed to The CW - but not as an actress, because she is so much better than that. Fear not, everybody! She's just going to be executive producing a show! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kunis has closed a deal to executive produce Meridian Hills for the network, an upcoming drama that is going to focus on the women's liberation movement in the early 1970's.

Sydney Sidner is set to pen the script and executive produce alongside Kunis, as well as Chris Keyser, Eric TannenbaumKim Tannenbaum,  Cami Curtis, Susan Curtis, and Robot Chicken's Lisa Sterbakov. So, yeah, they're pretty covered on the whole executive producer front.

The series will, reportedly, be set in a "boozy Midwest country club in 1972, during an era when the Equal Rights Amendment was just beginning," and follow a "young, newly married woman who joins the Junior League and discovers an eclectic group of other young women who become unlikely allies in her quest to change the system."
