Microsoft Slams Google as Scrooge of the Holiday Season in New Ad (Video)

"Scroogled."

Microsoft isn't letting up on its all-out war with Google just because it's the season of giving. The OG software pioneer recently unveiled its latest video attack ad against the Internet giant, this time taking aim at Google's product search results just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Introducing the term "Scroogled" (marginally better than the bizarre "Googlighting" affair), Microsoft points out that Google Shopping results are influenced by ad dollars (as of May), meaning you won't get an unbiased sampling while looking for things on your Christmas list. So how can you get a more "honest" product search? Well, by using Bing, of course.

What do you think of Microsoft's latest attack ad? Getting more effective, or still grasping at straws?
