Despite partnering with a major studio for his next stand-up special, Louis C.K. isn't abandoning the "for the people" conviction he's recently developed for the release of his work.  The comedian today announced via Twitter today that his next special will first air on HBO and be available on "louisck.com a few months after." Like the last show he sold on his website, this one will also cost $5. What's more, it will be sold without any digital rights management protection, meaning customers can play it on whatever device they please as many times as they please.

We're not sure how Louis got HBO to agree to those terms, but props to him. Power to the people and all that.
