When Square Enix launched its Core Online game streaming service in August, the developer and publisher promised that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light would soon become available alongside the likes of Hitman: Blood Money. That "soon" turned into three months, but who are we to complain? All the games on Core Online are free.

Guardian of Light makes the third game to join the browser-based streaming service, after Mini Ninjas and the aforementioned Hitman. Squenix promises that Tomb Raider: Underworldand Gyromancer are on their way as well.

Core Online is still in beta, but you can try it out for yourself if you're interested. Have you streamed any games online before? Do you think our current technology is up to the task?
