This is what happens when you get caught up in your feelings, and then let them seep into your classroom. A teacher at Kentucky'sSouth Laurel High School is in trouble after allegedly writing “You can’t be a democrat and go to heaven” on a whiteboard during a class discussion. Is that Old or New Testament? Psychology teacher Kendra Baker wrote the comment during a fire-and-brimstone speech against same-sex marriage and Obamacare.

17-year-old senior Chelsea Gilbert, coincidentally an Obama supporter, asked Baker to stop because her comments were offensive. Baker responded by telling Gilbert that one day she'd have to watch her parents die because of Obamacare. Gilbert told her mother, and though the school addressed Baker's comments, she was not fired.

Pissed off at the school district's actions (or lack thereof), Mary Gilbert filed a complaint against Baker with the state's Education Professional Standards Board. Chelsea Gilbert is currently being home schooled.
