Benjamin Walker may have replaced Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul for the lead role in HBO's upcoming Cold War-centric series, The Missionary, but it looks like another alum from the AMC series may be joining the cast anyway. According to Deadline, Jesse Plemons - who portrays Walter White's eager new protege on Breaking Bad - has been cast to star opposite Walker in the series. He will reportedly play Sherwood Elbridge, an executive for Coca-Cola who helps smuggle defectors out of the communist Eastern Bloc in Russia.

The series itself will be set in 1960's Berlin, and focus mostly on Walker's character Roy, a young American missionary who becomes a CIA operative. It will be produced by Mark WahlbergMalcolm Gladwell, and Boardwalk Empire's Stephen Levinson.
